haiiii i saw you got the xayah model into vrchat, i tried doing this myself but i didn't succeed because i don't have much experience with 3d models and such things ;-;. can you please send me the model for vrchat? that would be great :3
Make sure you head over toKadajoGameOver and let her know you'll be using the model and comply with her rules. Then I can send over the .fbx, but you'll still have to sort out the rest with the VRCSDK and Cubed's Unity Shaders in your own project and whatnot.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=7P0ljQ… I did not do the Decimation step at 36:00 because the model meets the poly/face requirements for VRChat 47:49 Eye tracking & 49:45 Visemes are also not necessary for this model as there are no bones tied to the eyes, and no mouth to animate for talking. I did not do the 52:33 Cat's Texture Atlasing step either. Just make sure to apply the authors provided textures to the model in Unity and apply the Cubed's Shaders to the material balls. I figured a video representation would help with the step by step more since that's how I learned and adapted some stuff along the way.
That being said some other models will require Decimation and Atalasing at times so it doesn't hurt to learn that. I saw you asked the author for permission so I figured I'd provide what help I could. Just be sure to not use TDA models fro mother Deviant Creators as that is prohibited (if you were unaware). They usually list TDA in the description.
